What it's all about

When people become comfortable in their daily roles at work, getting stuck in routine, they can lose sight of how awesome they truly are and what is possible for them. The idea of “leaning in” is based around stepping up and getting stuck into new challenges / goals. If you are interested in developing yourself, rewarding your staff and enhancing your business performance then Lean In is for you. If you’re only interested in ticking a ‘professional development box’ as part of a KPI, then look elsewhere. Simple.

Success starts with knowing the end goal

Every business, and in fact every individual, faces different challenges. All sessions and content are therefore customised to suit different sized teams and desired outcomes. The best way to design an effective training programme is by reverse engineering. This starts with a meeting to discuss the ultimate goal. This will provide the key information / insights required for us to tailor our approach and content to address the real-world process or behavioural issues which impact your team.

The process

Our workshops DON’T involve power points, cheesy material or boring presentations. They DO involve passionately delivered, truly engaging and thought-provoking personal and team development. Activities include walking on glass, breaking boards (yes, karate style), team challenges and courageous team conversations. The outcome of this will be a workplace filled with increasingly awesome, capable and empowered human beings – resulting in an overall better workplace performance.

What we deliver

Team Building

Defining and implementing effective team culture - There is a massive risk involved in leaving your team culture to come about by accident. If you want to lead with intention then defining and aligning an effective team culture is an absolute MUST!

In this interactive workshop we will address:

  • Team trust
  • Accountability
  • The power of influence

Increasing team performance – Goals / targets / budgets / KPI’s / deadlines – these are all terms that can very quickly get eyeballs rolling around the office. Lean In uses a fresh approach to attain staff buy in and motivation, and bring about positive change for each individual’s (and thus the team’s) behaviours.

In this interactive workshop we will address:

  • Personal purpose
  • Benefit of SMART goals
  • Personal ownership
  • Feedback vs failure

Overcoming barriers and obstacles - Some staff convince themselves they will never be on top of their workload / responsibilities and it’s all just “too hard”. As Henry Ford once said “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re probably right.”  If Henry Ford was still around he would have added “and if you think you can’t you need to talk to the team at Lean In.”  We may not have the technical advice specific to your field, but we do have a great understanding of the mental and emotional strategies it takes to overcome barriers and reach desired outcomes.

In this interactive workshop we will address:

  • Power of perspective
  • Working interdependently
  • State management

Conference energisers

This a fun and dynamic approach used to break up your conferences, staff meetings, end of year celebrations or the like. We deliver 30-60min truly ENGAGING presentations, on topics such as:

  • Power of focus
  • Pro-active teams
  • Managing perspective for performance
  • Effective goal setting
  • Identifying and overcoming barriers

If you have more time the above presentations can be combined with high energy team or individual activities designed to engage and excite every participant whilst putting the respective content into practise.

Real life review

What an absolute pleasure to meet you last week.  I want to thank you for your time and energy on Friday and making our conference one to remember.  There were plenty of positive comments following your session and our Franchisees took a lot from it.  There was a great buzz of excitement and accomplishment. I also want to thank you for your flexibility and professionalism, as you worked exceptionally well to our time frames even when we pressed you on these
