What it's all about

One of the many challenges of parenthood is when children get to the age where, despite your worry, they simply do not want to discuss their personal lives. After all, they are trying to break free and grow up, while a part of you wants to hold on. On the flip side, they may tell you everything and ask the hard questions. Perhaps you don't feel as though you have the right answers or when you think you do, they may refuse to take any advice on board. Your child may be quickly becoming an expert at filtering out anything you have to say!

If you want your child to receive support, one solution can be to hire a youth ‘growth’ coach. Parents do not hesitate to hire a piano teacher, swim coach or maths tutor. Yet when it comes to things like motivating, confidence-building, managing perspective, leadership and dealing with change, parents feel pressure to do it all themselves. It takes courage and personal insight as a parent to say "I am not the right person for this job". I have been fortunate enough to work with over 20,000 youth both individually and in teams all around the world. I believe I have found the perfect recipe involving experiential learning, coaching, self-reflection and personal challenge to assist our young people with making sense of themselves, their responsibilities, their goals and the never-ending challenges that come with growing up.

Success starts with knowing the end goal

Sometimes young people can feel like they are stuck on a never-ending roller coaster. The expectations they have on themselves, as well as the pressures of fitting in, growing up and planning a future can all make it hard for them to cope. The below options are designed to support your child with some of the common challenges they may face along their journey. Although there are different outcomes, all of these coaching packages will result in your child enhancing their emotional intelligence, attitudinal competence, self-confidence and self-worth.

Real life review

Jase has been working with my son as a mentor over the past few months. He has worked alongside him improving his resilience and helping him build a positive mindset when facing challenges. I have seen a huge change in him. His confidence has improved remarkably with regards to his self belief, he tackles challenges such as speeches with ease and has a much sunnier outlook on a daily basis. Thanks Jase -You’ve been amazing!
